The Lagos Ibadan Expressway is a US $1 Billion, 127km road that serves as the major gateway in and out of Nigeria’s commercial powerhouse and most populous city, Lagos, and dates back to 1978. It is also the busiest inter-state road in Nigeria, and is a main link to the Northern, Southern and Eastern regions. After a failed bid to concession the Expressway, the Federal Ministry required Transaction Advisors to support the concessioning of the servicing and maintenance functions for the road.
